To all HCR Entrants..
Here is a list of some of the things we will check on your bike..

• Wheel Bearings, Grab and wriggle you wheel at the top and bottom if there is movement in the bearings - Replace Them.
• Brakes, Make sure you have enough pad linings to do the ride.
• Do your brakes work? Believe me we have had non working brakes before.
• Throttle, make sure it returns freely - flicks closed.
• Chain and Sprockets, They don't have to be brand new but if they have all the teeth they are meant to thats a great start.

This list is here because every year we have to send bikes off to get fixed for the fear they will not complete the ride.
Wheel bearings, Brake pads, and sprocket teeth are the biggest knock backs

So make sure you have a look over your bike before the HCR allow yourself time to get any bits you might need and fix it before you come up.
Its alot easier in the shed rather than out on the trail....
