Shane Robberts used to do a dummy spitting bike destroyed and character building hell ride out in those hills. And it was unreal!!!!
You'd pull up to a hill to see 8 bikes and crash test dummy's strewn over the 70degree + slopes. Good as ride!!!
Count me in if I'm not busy.

Make sure you go up a nice little incline called Allens Peak

I think if I go up Allens peak 2km into the ride nobody will like me  :)

No  Not on that Particular Day, but i do remember the 3 times i went. Staying in the Goughs Bay Caravan Park on Saturday Nights Bench Racing was quite funny.

This is a great place to ride, but make sure you have saved some extra $$$$$ to pay for your New Plastics Muffler ETC.

Goughs bay is not THAT hard. It is a great place to ride. definitely worth the effort of going if you are a capable rider.

Great place to ride and very rewarding place too! Anth puts on a great ride and loop, and knows his area well. Anyone who hasnt been should give it a go.

Hey robbo that area has changed the last time you road there was on a pennyfarthing 250 neumatic  tires had not been invented  and standard petrol was 2 shillings a gallon and marolyn munro was still with a virgin ! :-) all good
