The one Peter has listed is a 150a, the one Chris has listed is a 450a. Only the 150a model says it is programmable for narrow band which will be needed (desirable) when the new standards are adopted in Australia this year.
Title: Re: Hand Held 477 MHz UHF Radio's Post by: Peter r on March 23, 2011, 08,58:22 AM The radio's i have are FD-450A UHF 400-480 Mhz. You can adjust the Frequency Steps. (5k/6.25k/10k/12.5k/25k)at the moment Aus Regs are 25k steps and will soon go to 12.5k.
The FD-150A is VHF 136-174 Mhz. * Halving channel spacing from 25 kHz to 12.5 kHz (excluding Telemetry) * Doubling repeater channels from 8 to 16 * |
