So I've scoured the forum looking for approximate ride distances, so as not to ask another silly question, but I've given up! What sort of distances are we looking at, and are there re-fuel stops? Thanks

The Saturday ride is planned at between 150 and 165 km, with a fuel top up at no more than 100km. So it is recommended that you carry enough fuel for at least 100km.
That is not as much as many would first think. On a CRF250X with standard tank I topped up with 2L that I carried in my backpack and still comfortably made it around the whole loop without even hitting reserve.
On the 2T they did need a fuel top up but not by much.
On Sunday the rides are under 100km before coming back to Abbeyard so you can refuel in between.

You might not remember Mat, but I did my first ride with AMTRA at your Cobaw, last last year. And after doing both the level one and two loops for the day, I hit reserve on the way back to the carpark! I think I do about 120 K's to the 12L tank on my KTM 300, so I should go ok! Sorry for my ignorance if this question has already been asked but was wondering what the route will be this year? Think i heard a rumour that the fuel/lunch stop will be at Whitfield???

We are not going to Whitfield rumor is not valid. Assume 100K's between refuels and if the course is longer than that we provide some fuel to get you home. Most 4T bikes do 120K's and the 2T's should aim to do 100K's. If its shorter like Sunday you need to supply your own refuel at the property between rides.

No its not its just due to the rains there are track closures which we need to work with, for those who attend the route will be arrowed.

We will have distances after this weekend. The route is planned but has had minor changes due to track closures so we cant give exact distances until the course is ridden this weekend.

It was going to be Whitfield, but that did not work out. We have a route but it is still being finalised with DSE and PV, so still subject to change. Plus we like to try and make it a surprise.  Regards Mat.
